Six-speed transmission has broadly spread ratios for capable cruising performance. Fuel injection with SDTV Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) system improves linear throttle response while lowering fuel consumption and emissions. Auto Fast Idling System (AFIS) ensures easy starting and running. Pulsed-secondary AIR-injection (PAIR) system, and catalyzer keep exhaust emissions below the planned EURO-2 limits. Chassis, advanced aluminium alloy twin-spar frame combines lightness and rigidity 43mm cartridge type front forks deliver 160mm of smooth wheel travel. Low seat height of 840mm and dry weight of 208kg. Relaxed upright riding position provides touring comfort and good visibility. Large 22 litre fuel tank and an efficient fuel injection system to achieve longer distances between fill-ups. Integrated luggage rack fitted as standard, which features a rubber pad for secure attachment of luggage.
